I was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, a state of the Mexican Republic that in 2011 was strongly affected by the war against drug cartels undertaken by President Felipe Calderón. More than 31,000 deaths in last five years years. So I decided to do something about it, go out and portray more than 31,000 people, to show that we are more good people than bad people.
I visited the 32 States of the Mexican Republic. 109 Cities and villages. 44,577 miles (71,740 kms) driving by road. A paper dove “La Huasteca”.
A year of my life, a year of fatigue, sacrifice, sweat and tears, a year I will never forget.
